A synopsis of the Mars Virtual Voyage Ride

It’s human nature to explore. Since we first moved out of Africa forty thousand years ago to search beyond the next horizon, we have continually faced new frontiers. As the exploration of our planet’s landscape became more hazardous, wecreated new technologies allowing us to scale the highest mountains, descend to crushing ocean depths and live in snow-bound worlds.

The exploration of Mars will challenge us to invent new technologies we can only imagine today. The question is not whether we will travel to Mars, but when. From the oceans of Earth to the oceans of space, we are explorers still.
