NASA Gives Go for Space Shuttle Return to Flight

NASA announces all systems go for the re-launch of the Space Shuttle's Return to Flight.

The Cradle of Aviation Museum will provide Long Islanders with an opportunity to watch the rescheduled launch of the Space Shuttle Discovery STS 114 on Tuesday, July 26th at exactly 10:39am in the Cradle's Return to Flight Theatre located on the main level of the Museum.

Starting at 9:30 am visitors will be able to build their own shuttle, take a picture in an authentic space suit or visit the Lunar Landing Module at it's home on the moon. At roughly 10:20 am visitors will take their seats in the "Return to Flight" Theatre to watch the Space Shuttle Discovery on it's lift-off from Cape Canaveral in Florida. The liftoff is scheduled for exactly 10:39am. Viewing the space shuttle launch is free, but space is limited.
