The Cradle of Aviation and the Long Island Museum of Science and Technology will be celebrating their partnership at the 5th annual Gala on Wednesday, November 28, 2007.

The Gala helps to support the development of new activities and educational programs, and honors the accomplishments of leaders in aviation, space, science and technology.   This year we are pleased to honor Capt. Eugene Cernan, Apollo 17 Commander and "The Last Man to Walk on the Moon." We are also pleased to honor Adam Katz with the Leroy R. Grumman Award. Mr. Katz is the president and CEO of Talon Air. The Science and Technology Award is being given to Arthur L. Rossoff (posthumously), Founder, Long Island Museum of Science and Technology and the Donald E. Axinn Community Service Award is being given to the Salvatico Family.

Through your commitment to this event, you can assist the Cradle of Aviation and the Long Island Museum of Science and Technology to continue to grow as an exciting cultural landmark on Long Island.
