Summer Camp at the Cradle of Aviation

In these two weeklong summer camp programs, children will explore aviation and space through hands-on activities, art projects, aerospace experiments and gallery visits.  Led by an experienced museum educator, students will discover the past and learn about future exploration.

Session 1:  Rockets and Space:  A trip through the Universe
Participants will learn about basic rocketry, spacecraft, travel and living in space.

Dates:  July 13 – 16, 2004
Time:  9:30 - 12:00
Age: 7 – 11 years
Cost: $50 (includes all materials)

Session 2:  Adventures in Aviation
Participants will learn about early aviation, how things fly, different types of aircrafts and some of the colorful figures from aviation history.

Dates: August 3 – 6
Time:  9:30 – 12:00
Age: 7 – 11
Cost: $50 (includes all materials)
