On Saturday, September 28th, the Cradle of Aviation celebrates Antique Car Day with a display of classic automobiles stretching back to the early days of automotive history. These beautifully maintained vehicles will be sitting beside one of the nation's finest aviation and aerospace collections, offering visitors a chance to see the advance of transportation technology that is unique in the tri-state region.

The following Saturday, October 5th, the Cradle of Aviation will then play host to the Long Island Military Vehicles Club with jeeps, trucks and “soft skinned” armored vehicles that pay tribute to our American heritage and the defense of freedom.

Both classic cars and military vehicles can be inspected free of charge. Visitors are then invited to tour the Cradle of Aviation with over 70 historic aircraft and spacecraft that chronicle Long Island's exciting heritage, and then enjoy the breath taking IMAX® Dome theater.
